Lima to Chiclayo

Okay - this photo of this sand here might look like no big deal, but it's looking upward at a humongous avelancheable steep that is difficult to comprehend.  On the other side of the road is a vast sand hill that drops off of huge cliffs.  If the sand were to give the entire highway would fall into the sea.  If you ask me, it's nuts!

This is a typical view of a large river coming from the Andes that goes out to the ocean.  These rivers are AWESOME!  They need a whole lot of regulation though because there is widespread pollution.  I hope saying that doesn't get me killed.

A typical farm.  Asparagus and sugar cane are HUGE crops here.
